Return Policy

At Tie Down Marine, we take pride in the quality of our dock ladders and marine accessories. If your order does not meet expectations, we are happy to help with a return or exchange.

Eligibility for Returns

For buyer’s remorse returns, we offer a 15-day return policy. After 15 days, the order may qualify for a possible exchange, depending on the reason for the return or refund request. A 25% restocking fee may apply for buyer’s remorse returns, but may be waived for qualifying exchanges.

  1. Items must be unused.
  2. Proof of purchase is required for all returns.
  3. Sale items are not eligible for refunds.

Return Process

To start a return, please contact us with your order details. Once approved, we will provide return instructions and a shipping label, if applicable.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of your refund approval status. Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 5–7 business days.

Shipping & Fees

  1. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, unless the product arrived damaged or qualifies as a warranty issue.
  2. Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
  3. A 25% restocking fee may apply for buyer’s remorse returns. This fee may be waived for qualifying exchanges of equal or lesser value, or for returns due to reasons that are outside the customer’s control.

Damaged or Defective Items

If your order arrives damaged or defective, please contact us with photos and order details. We will arrange a replacement at no cost to you.

 

NautiSteps Dock Ladder – 3-Year Limited Warranty

Coverage

TIE DOWN Inc. warrants its products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for three years (36 months) from the date of purchase or delivery to the original purchaser, provided the product is properly installed, used and maintained.

Exclusions

This warranty does not cover damage caused by:

  1. Assembly or installation errors.
  2. Use of non-TIE DOWN parts or accessories.
  3. Misuse, improper application or failure to follow instructions.
  4. Use outside of the product’s intended applications.

Warranty Claim Process

If a defect is confirmed by TIE DOWN, the company may, at its discretion:

  1. Credit the product’s purchase price.
  2. Replace the product.
  3. Repair the product.

Claims must be submitted within 30 days of discovering the defect or before the warranty expires, whichever occurs first. The purchaser is responsible for returning the product for evaluation. Expenses incurred without prior written approval from TIE DOWN will not be reimbursed.

Limitation of Liability

TIE DOWN’s liability is limited to the product’s original purchase price. This warranty excludes all implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose. Incidental or consequential damages are not covered unless otherwise prohibited by law.

Technical Assistance and Warranty Support

To request assistance or an evaluation of a product issue, please call 404-344-0000 and provide the following information:

  1. The product name, part number, serial number, if available, and any other information identifying the component involved.
  2. The date and place of purchase.
  3. A description of the issue, including the product’s application, the nature of the load involved and the weight of the load.

Final Terms

No representative has the authority to make any representation, promise or agreement beyond the terms stated in this Limited Warranty. TIE DOWN reserves the right to make design or product changes without any obligation to install those changes on previously sold or delivered products.

This warranty is effective March 2025 and replaces all previous warranties. TIE DOWN reserves the right to update product designs without retrofitting previously sold models.
