What is the difference between NautiSteps and NautiSteps Lite?
NautiSteps offers a more stair-like climbing experience with a gentler 45-degree angle, making it a comfortable choice for children, older adults and anyone who prefers easier access in and out of the water. It is available with 4 to 8 steps and offers more frame colors, step colors and configuration options.
NautiSteps Lite has a steeper 60-degree angle and a more compact design that takes up less space on the dock. It is available with 4 or 5 steps and a smaller selection of color combinations.
Choose NautiSteps for the most comfortable climbing angle and the widest range of options. Choose NautiSteps Lite when dock space is limited and a smaller footprint is the priority. Both models feature spring-assisted lifting, slow-fall operation and non-slip polypropylene steps.
What is the current lead time?
NautiSteps ladders are custom made to order. Please allow approximately 4–6 weeks for production, plus shipping time. Lead times may vary based on order volume and seasonal demand.
Can I lock the ladder in the raised or lowered position?
Once the ladder is fully raised into its storage position or lowered into its in-use position, align the openings in the spring-assisted housing and insert the locking pin. The pin secures the ladder in place until you are ready to change positions.
Can NautiSteps ladders be used in saltwater?
Yes. NautiSteps dock ladders can be used in both freshwater and saltwater environments. Its heavy-duty aluminum construction is designed to resist corrosion and withstand marine conditions. For saltwater installations, we recommend regularly rinsing the ladder with fresh water and inspecting the housing, hardware and moving components as part of routine maintenance.
What is the weight limit?
NautiSteps dock ladders have a maximum weight capacity of 300 lbs. when properly installed.
How many handrails are included?
NautiSteps includes one handrail, with the option to add a second handrail. NautiSteps Lite includes two handrails.
Do NautiSteps ladders come with a warranty?
Yes. NautiSteps is backed by a 3-year limited warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship when the ladder is properly installed, used and maintained.
